Our History/Story :
The vision of Mosaic Church of North Carolina was
planted by God in the hearts and minds of our co-pastors, Peter Kim and Mark
Maltby, in the early 2000s. When the time was finally right, God
brought these two men together and made it clear that planting a
multi-cultural and multi-ethnic church was His plan for them and for the
Our Mission: We are a missional, multi-ethnic, and multi-cultural church. It is our purpose to declare God's glory among the nations (Psalm 96:3).
This includes reaching all ethnic groups in Greensboro, North Carolina and its surrounding areas with a desire to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and thereby portray a picture of heaven on earth (Revelation 14:6).
As God's people, we want to be His ambassadors to all the nations by loving one person at a time into the kingdom of God. It is our desire to be biblically faithful while we strive to be genuine and relevant in our church, in our community, and in the world.

The Scriptures- We believe
the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the inspired Word of
God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant, infallible and God-breatheda.
The Godhead- We believe that
there is one living God, eternally existing in three persons- the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit- equal in power and glory.
The Person and Work of Christ- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God became
man without ceasing to be God. He allowed Himself to be born of a virgin,
was crucified as the penal substitute for our sins, arose bodily from the
dead, ascended in to heaven, where He is at the right hand of the Father,
and is now our High Priest and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit- We believe
in God the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, and lives in us and
teaches us, and persuades us to confess Jesus as Lord.
Humans and Salvation- Men and
women are created in the image of God and sin against God. As a result of
their sin, men and women are separated from God. Through repentance and
personal faith in Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven reborn by the Holy
Spirit, and by God’s grace we become His childrenb.
Ministry and Spiritual Gifts-We
believe that God is sovereign in bestowing spiritual gifts. It is, however,
the believer’s responsibility to attempt to develop them. We also believe
that particular spiritual gifts are neither essential to prove the presence
of the Holy Spirit, nor an indication of deep spiritual experiencec.
We believe that it is the privilege and responsibility of every believer to
minister according to the gifts of God that is given to them. We believe in
the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in all His fullness and exercise all
the Biblical gifts, in accordance with the Holy Scriptures. They are given
to glorify God and to edify His church.
The Church- The church is the
living body of Christ on earth; Christ is its head and source of life. The
body is composed of those who have received Him personally. The church
exists to celebrate the living God, cultivate personal growth, love one
another, and communicate Christ to the world through words and deeds. We
recognize baptismd and the Lord’s Supper as scriptural means of
testimony for the church in this agee.
The Second Coming of Christ-
Jesus Christ will return to earth to raise the dead, judge the world, and
establish His glorious kingdom. This is the hope of the church and its
encouragement for ministry.
Security and Assurance-
Because God gives eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is
secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, and
trusted in Him, then you cannot lose your salvation. Salvation is maintained
by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It
is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us the assurance of
salvation.
